Lancashire Residents Support Increase In Council Tax For Policing

Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Clive Grunshaw, has thanked residents for supporting a 6p a week increase in council tax to pay for policing. The Commissioner has decided to increase the payment by 1.99% after 86.5% of residents said they wanted to see an increase in a cross-county consultation. Lancashire Commissioner considers 92 applications for grant funding

A £600k grant pot made available from money seized from criminals has received 92 applications totaling £3.7m. The grants, funded under the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA), have been made available by Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw. Lancashire crime fighting projects receive cash injection

Community Groups will be working to tackle crime and re-offending and protect vulnerable people across Lancashire thanks to funding from the Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw. New plans for West HQ on view in Blackpool

Plans for the new West Division Police Headquarters based in Blackpool, will be on display in the Houndshill Shopping Centre on Saturday, January 16.
