COMMUNITY SAFETY PARTNERSHIP SPENDING 2016/17

The Police and Crime Commissioner approved the allocation of funding from the Community Safety Fund 2016/17 on 21st March 2016– Decision ref: 2015/81

Here are the details of how some of that funding has supported the district level delivery of community safety programmes in Lancashire.

Partnership Spending

FYLDE CSP

Amount:

£5,000

Who received the funding:

Fylde CSP

Purpose:

Fylde Youth Zone

FYZ will provide diversionary activities to Young People across the borough.

Priorities Supported:

Tackle Crime & ASB

WEST LANCS CSP

Amount:

£1,000

Who received the funding:

West Lancs CSP

Purpose:

Section 59 Signs

Motorcycle nuisance is a problem in Skelmersdale. Operation Section 59 Signpost will be put in place at various sites in Skelmersdale. These warning signs have been used before to good effect and remove the requirement to give out a warning before a bike is seized in public.

RIBBLE VALLEY CSP

Amount:

£1,500

Who received the funding:

Ribble Valley CSP

Purpose:

Polycarbonates for the town

Ribble Valley CSP will purchase polycarbonate glasses for the town to be used at peak times and high profile events.
