COMMUNITY SAFETY PARTNERSHIP FUNDING 2013/14

The Police and Crime Commissioner approved the allocation of funding from the Community Safety Fund 2013-2014 on Friday 1 February 2013 – Decision ref 2012/10.

Here are the details of how some of that funding has supported the district level delivery of community safety programmes in Lancashire.

Chorley & South Ribble Community Safety Partnership Fund

Offender Housing Initiative

Purpose:
Provide funding and resources to support offenders into housing – one of the pathways to reducing re-offending

Lancashire Womens’ Centres – AVERT project

Purpose:
Support a programme of 1-2-1 sessions for up to 30 Domestic Abuse perpetrators to reduce the likelihood of re-offending

Nightsafe Haven

Purpose:
A partnership initiative to provide a ‘one stop shop’ for those experiencing difficulties on a night out in Accrington through the provision of St John’s Ambulance staff, rest and recuperation area, free water, foil blankets and safe disposable footwear

Purpose:

Working Together with Families


Purpose:
Providing additional resources to the Lancashire Improving Futures programme to enable a wider range of families with complex needs to be supported. Families will be identified by Police and Probation through the Revolution programme and will include families of female offenders out on licence
