About the Town CIC – Creative Futures

West Lancashire

This project targets young people from years 5 to 7. Weekly sessions will incorporate mindfulness practices using art as a therapeutic tool. The young people will be encouraged to express their emotions and learn communication skills through artistic activities. They will also include recreational activities and an opportunity for young people to build relationships with the local policing teams. The project also aims to target young people aged 13 and above with sessions that will focus more on advanced forms of art. The sessions are designed to foster self-confidence, self worth and artistic expression, providing an alternative to crime and/or ASB.

 

Accrington Stanley Community Trust – Summer Kicks

Hyndburn

This project will deliver 4 sessions each week of the summer holidays in various locations in Hyndburn. These locations have been identified through consultation with the Police and Hyndburn Council. Sessions will be multi-sport and will cater for the demands of the young people (aged 8-17) in order to keep them engaged with the aim to divert young people away from crime and/or ASB.

 

Blackburn with Darwen Council – Climbing Wall

Blackburn with Darwen

The project will see Police and the Community Safety Team holding a series of pop-up events at Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) hotspot areas which are engaging and can draw young people in. In order to make these events fun for young people, they want to provide a free activity that young people will want to partake in. They propose the focal point of these pop up events be a climbing wall.

 

Blackpool Boys and Girls Club – Summer Holiday Activities

Blackpool

Blackpool Boys & Girls Club will provide activities for young people during the school summer holidays. Qualified youth workers will provide 4 days a week of activities and outings for young people aged 8-19 years.

 

Blackpool Council – Blackpool Streetwork Youth Team

Blackpool

The Partnership is seeking to establish a dedicated Streetwork Team of Youth Workers and Sports Coaches to provide an offer of positive activities and opportunities to address Youth ASB in key identified locations over the summer period in Blackpool. The coordinated approach seeks to deliver a divert, prevent, enforce, build model of support and intervention combining existing operations such as Operation Centurion, Awaken (Complex Safeguarding) Detached work with a Streetwork Team of youth workers and sports coaches to provide a comprehensive approach to addressing Youth ASB over the summer.

 

BR Boxing – Sports and Boxing Club

Blackpool

This project aims to deliver boxing, football, cricket, rounders and running activities to young people within the Blackpool area.

 

Burnley FC in the Community – Common Ground

Burnley

The project aims to utilise the already set up Common Ground space set up by existing participants. They will target young people with SEND, looked after children, young carers through Burnley FC in the Community Youth Engagement staff liaising with Lancashire County Council in order for them to refer young people to Common Ground and our Premier League Kicks and Limitless Clarets (SEND) provisions.

 

Child Action North West CIC – Future Pathways for Breaking the Cycle

Burnley

The Future Pathways for Breaking the Cycle project aims to prevent crime and anti-social behaviour among young people aged 10 to 17 in Burnley by providing practical skills training, team-building activities, and personal development workshops. The program will offer structured sessions during the summer holidays, targeting at-risk youth and providing them with positive, constructive activities.

 

Chorley Borough Council – Operation Prosper

Chorley

The project aims to deliver an alternative youth provision at Westway sports hub. There will be an offer of coaching sessions run by PNE. The sessions will run at peak ASB times and staff have already undertaken outreach work to target young people.

 

Church the Saviour – Saviour Holiday Club

Blackburn with Darwen

This project aims to deliver a holiday club provision for up to 30 underprivileged young people. Their aims are re-education and prevention, to do this they will provide positive role models and activities that will create behaviour change.

 

Colne Youth Action Group – Targeted Youth Activities for Residents of Jim Smart Way

Pendle

Colne Youth Action Group aim to carry out outreach activities with young people causing a nuisance on Jim Smart Way. They also wish to put on some targeted activities over the summer period to engage these young people.

 

Community Network and Outreach Service CIC – CNOS Youth Summer

South Ribble

CNOS aim to deliver 2 sessions per week through the summer half term holidays, these will act as a safe space for young people to engage with the service. The sessions will be informal with a choice of activities, including creative, physical, and entertainment opportunities.

 

Elisha House CIO – Elisha House Summer Bootcamp

Pendle

Elisha House aims to deliver their Summer Bootcamp project to engage vulnerable young people from across Pendle. The project will run for 5 weeks and is designed around the 5 ways of wellbeing. This will include a combination of educational and physical activities and will provide a holistic approach to support the wellbeing of these individuals.

 

Fleetwood Town Community Trust – Summer Drop Ins

Wyre

Fleetwood Town developed this project after consultation with the young people, it became apparent there was a lack of provision or safe spaces throughout the summer to attend and engage with. Fleetwood Town Community Trust will deliver a range of activities during the summer holiday period.

 

Fylde Council – Safer Communities & Confident Young People

Fylde

The project will deliver positive pathways for young people with 2 themes:

  • Theme 1: These sessions will look to focus on young people aged 11-16 and will deliver multi-sports activities.
  • Theme 2: These sessions will look at working with 16-24 year olds and will focus on employability and work experience.

 

Heath Charnock Parish Council – Summer Adlington Parish Council

Chorley

This project will deliver Friday evening sessions at Fairview Youth and Community Centre. They will provide activities led by a sports coach as well as indoor activities to engage young people and offer continuity and support to the 12+ age group.

 

MentorFit

Hyndburn

MentorFit want to deliver a targeted fitness & mentoring programme for 13 to 16 year olds throughout the school holidays. They would like to use a combination of group functional fitness sessions (CrossFit/Hyrox and Deka) and individual exercise programmes alongside the mentoring and life coaching that instructors and the community can provide.

 

Morecambe BID – Poulton Ward

Lancaster

Morecambe BID want to deliver 6 evening sessions at the Good Things Collective studios. Each week GCC will open their studios to young people to support arts and crafts, textile and fashion, and design and print. The RNLI will also be offering water safety sessions for young people.

 

Nature Warriors – Outdoor Summer Programme

Pendle

The Nature Warriors will deliver an outdoor summer camp that will take place over 16 days in August. Activities will include wilderness survival and bushcraft skills. They will also have sessions on character development and taking pride in the community by taking part in local litter picking, encouraging recycling and tree planting.

 

Participation Works NW

Burnley

Participation Works want to deliver 6 weeks of activity and support over the summer period. They will offer an open access provision utilising their youth and community van in hotspot locations. They will discuss risks and consequences associated with ASB, drugs and alcohol and risky/harmful behaviours.

 

Pennine Community Safety Partnership

Burnley, Blackburn with Darwen, Rossendale and Hyndburn

Pennine CSP would like to deliver a targeted partnership approach to moto nuisance over the Pennine area. They have highlighted hotspot locations and key incident times across the four districts in Pennine. Using intelligence, they have developed a plan for each area to arrange a ‘days of action’ that will be multi-agency in nature.

 

Positive Action in the Community – Waterside Youth Club

Pendle

PAC have applied for funding to carry on the their 2 evening sessions a week for young people to have free access to warm safe spaces during the summer holiday period.

 

Preston Community Safety Partnership – Divert from Danger

Preston

The project focuses on reducing criminal damage and anti-social behaviour in and around empty buildings in the town centre during the summer holiday period. The multi-agency project will focus on targeting young people and raise awareness of the inherent dangers of entering these sites.

 

Preston North End Community and Education Trust – Preston North End Kicks

South Ribble

This project will build on the existing support and relationship PNE have in place with beneficiaries and stakeholders. The sessions will run for 2 hours on the football pitched at Bamber Bridge Sports Hub.

 

Preston Pirates BMX Club

Preston

Following on from consultation with the local community, Preston Pirates would like to deliver a 7-week cycle training programme throughout the summer period based at Fishwick recreational ground. This programme will engage with young people aged between 11 and 18.

 

Preston Vocational Centre – Pathway to Progress

Preston

The Pathway to Progress project is an introduction to the construction industry summer programme. The programme will consist of a variety of fun, engaging and energising construction related sessions that will raise the young person’s awareness of the construction industry, the variety of roles the industry has to offer.

 

Rosscon Training Ltd – Drop the Blade, Pick a Trade

Blackpool

This comprehensive programme aims to equip young people with practical skills, personal development, and community engagement while fostering a positive and supportive environment. The project delivers the following:

  • Fitness and Sports Activities
  • Community Engagement
  • Music Therapy
  • Cultural and Social Enrichment

 

Rossendale Leisure Trust – Summer Circuits

Rossendale

This project aims to deliver a regular circuit training session, twice a week at Pioneer Gym.

 

Rossendale Leisure Trust – Friday Night Football

Rossendale

RLT is proposing to deliver a weekly Friday night football session targeting young people aged 11-17 years old. The project will encompass a combination of football coaching, skill development and matches on the 3G pitch for 20 young people.

 

SafeNet Domestic Abuse Support Offices – Children & Young People’s Summer Activities

Pan Lancashire

SafeNet want to provide a variety of craft activities, groups, and days out for the young people using their Domestic Abuse refuge service. They will tailor activities according to the need of the individual, funds will provide arts and crafts materials, ingredients and more.

 

St Lukes Blackburn – Community Kitchen Holiday Provision

Blackburn with Darwen

St Luke’s are offering a youth provision during summer to support young people. They will deliver 2 sessions each week incorporating sports, crafts and mentoring.

 

Stable Lives – Stable Lives Holiday Days

West Lancashire

This project will allow Stable Lives to deliver 3 fun and supportive days for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds within the community. They would like to focus on those young people who are facing financial, social, or behavioural challenges as well as those involved in or at risk of being involved in crime and/or ASB.

 

Tanterton Village Centre – Summer Club

Preston

During the school holiday period, Tanterton Village Centre will be conducting a summer holiday programme. The project will aim to engage with local young people aged between 6 and 11 years through a variety of sports, drama, arts and crafts.

 

The Flowhesion Foundation – ‘Kheyl Kowd’ ‘Play and Jump’ Summer Project

Burnley

Through consultation with young people, Flowhesion will implement the following sessions:

  • A sports tournament.
  • 8 weekend ‘enrichment’ sessions.
  • A ‘Kehyl Kowd’ summer tournament.
  • ‘Kehyl Kowd’ ‘enrichment’ sessions.

 

The Foxton Centre – Foxton Summer Detached Work

Preston

The Foxton Centre will deliver 2 nights per week of outreach and detached work in the Frenchwood and Avenham areas of Preston. They will also open their youth centre up to be able to offer outreach services such as food, support and safeguarding spaces where needed.

 

The Streetlife Trust – Spoken Word Project

Blackpool

The Streetlife Trust will put on a poetry project with homeless young people in Blackpool, they will work with the young people to create an anthology of poem. In the process they aim to develop positive relationships with these young people.

 

Wyre Council – Forest School

Wyre

Wyre Council in partnership with the local police and Commando Rugby/Forest School propose to deliver a school holiday project consisting of 5 x 2 hour sessions targeting young people known to be engaging in ASB within the district.
