“These officers need to be praised and supported. Violence and intimidation has no place on our streets and in our society and arrests will be made either immediately or retrospectively, with intelligence teams are working round the clock to identify those involved.
“We have a strong tradition of community in Lancashire, and I’m confident we will stand united against anyone intent on causing fear, destruction or violence.
