Member of Parliament (MP) Sponsored Grants
FUND NOW OPEN (Applications will open on 11 May and close on 17 June, after which funding will move to monthly application rounds, closing on the last working day of each month and assessed with decisions made by the end of the following month)
The MP Fund supports constituency-focused initiatives that address local crime and safety concerns. It enables MPs to lead evidence-based projects that enhance community protection, reduce crime, and strengthen public confidence in policing.
MP’s may submit applications directly, or support community organisations to apply by way of sponsorship letter. All applications must have a reference from a referring or partnered organisation.
Proposals should be tailored to the specific needs of the area – such as tackling anti-social behaviour, improving youth safety, or fostering community cohesion – and must demonstrate clear, measurable outcomes.
Additional Grant Documentation
To help you prepare a strong application, we have provided a range of supporting documents alongside the grant guidance. These include tools such as the Due Diligence Checklist, Application Checklists, and the Grants Scoring Matrix, which explain the information required and how applications are assessed. We strongly encourage applicants to review these documents before applying, as they are designed to support clear, complete and high‑quality submissions and to improve transparency around the assessment process.
